I’m soaking in the loungey calm while I can because TOMORROW IS FAIR SEASON!!!!
Yes, starting tomorrow (or, actually right now!), I am hijacking my own blog to bring you daily updates on All Things Fair!
FAIR FAIR FAIR!!!
If you want more frequent updates (YES, YOU DO!!) with photos that I don’t plan to post here (OOOH, EXCLUSIVE PIX!), follow me on Instagram under “its_the_fair.” I anticipate posting 2-5 photos each Fairing day of whatever strikes me as Fairable Sharable.
Changes are afoot this year!
As dedicated Fair Fans will remember, the head honcho at The Fair retired last year so this year we have a much younger newbie from Tennessee running things. I’m very excited to see what changes Mickey has in store for The Best Fair Ever. As much as I adore My Fair, it could nonetheless be infused with some oomph and new ideas. Sticky fingers crossed that Mickey is just the magic we need. (I can already tell you that the website is MUCH improved and there is some creative thinking evident with entertainment and pricing. So far I’m optimistic!)
There will also be some new approaches to my own Fairing this year. I will be Fairing my heart and tummy out for the first three days, blogging and photoing along the way to bring you with me for all the ridiculous fun. Rob and I will then take a short break to regroup and reconfigure. All the Fair Fun will resume on Wednesday, August 7 with some surprises that will hopefully be worth the wait. Stay tuned!
And with that, I will now return to my Fair Season Prep which includes reviewing my favorite Smashers and Shave Ice combos and deciding which novelty earrings to wear tomorrow. TOMORROW!!!
